Product Details

3D printed Yokomo YZ-870c shorty tray (not for use with backbone). This mounts using the original battery post holes and straps so no drilling required, and allows the LiPo to fit in either the forward or rearward position, which is a difference of 6.5mm.

An ultra low profile shorty will fit with the standard 170 tooth belt using the kit tensioner (mounted to the top deck) to lift the front of the belt. If you are lucky enough to have a Trickbits motor mount, you can run a longer belt and also lift the belt behind the cells. This will allow a full height shorty to fit. This is a good place for belts with a 172 tooth and 174 tooth option:
